On a certain Sunday, at a cafe

What do you think is the most important thing in your life?

I came to a cafe, angel in us. This cafe is crowded of people, young as well as old. It is much more crowded than normal weekdays. So is the Starbucks...maybe people are always looking for some places where they can feel at home, do some works, feel related to others, feel served and hospitality, and also feel I am one of them, able to enjoy expensive cup of teas and coffees. Of course i am one of them.
I tried to join one person woman household meeting, which had started a year ago. But their time to meet was generally on sundays. thus i could not think of joining them..but i did not go to church today....but they did not gather today. I nearly contacted one woman of that meeting. She said she would inform me of their meeting time and place...

I told one woman, actually kind of elder sister that i felt little bit lonely at church as i could not talk about my interests and study freely without any worry of being misunderstood... my interests are of course gender issues, heterosexual marriage and various forms of modern family... i think church in korea is perhaps one of the most conservative institutes that deny change and social transformation.. i experience in a way that i have been denied my speech, language... As Lacan said, there is no woman... Human beings are the existences that speak of themselves...we speak, I speak. But there are many times or cases where the weak, the women are not allowed to speak, allowed to raise questions by the stronger, the more powerful in the social hierarchy. As Helen Cixous said , women write with their breast's milk, women have two mouths including vagina. As J Kristeva said, women must speak, humans speak... their proposals, prepositions are not being realized until now in korean church in 21st century. I wonder if the herstory really goes forward, develops at last...sometimes women have to start all over again, because they have no knowledge of their fore women, mothers...women themselves do not study about their sisters' past herstory. The powerful do not educate women about past women's struggles and achievements...thus many women suffer from lack of knowledge. Why women have to experience sexual discrimination, abuse and violence...
